Voice Recital

Lexi has been taking voice this last year. She had her first voice recital and her first experience singing to an audience. Now I realize that I am her mom and because of that I am biased, but she did a great job. She sang Castle on a Cloud from Les Mis and I could just see her kneeling on a stage being Cosette with dirt smudged on her face. She did so good it brought tears to my eyes. I was a proud mama that night!

PAULA

Our good friend Paula has found a new home in Las Vegas. As much as we will miss her we are so happy for the great opportunities for her there. Lexi loves Paula because she swims with her at Bear Lake. MaKaya loves Paula because she goes on the slides with her at Jumping Jacks. Savanna loves Paula because she gave her the name Boo. I love Paula because she always always always laughs. She makes me think I am so funny. I also love her because she loves my girls, and is always so excited to see them. We will miss her dearly but at least we now have a free place to vacation.

Sprinkler Time

I have the worlds greatest and most talented brother. Unlike most people Adam really enjoys a project. Lucky for me and him I have lots of projects. He came and slaved away and worked non-stop to put my sprinkling system in. The only thing I feel bad about is that I have no talents that I can use to repay the favor. I guess being a really great sister will have to do. Thanks Adam once again you amaze me.

Field Trip Fun

We went to Thanksgiving Point's petting zoo with MaKaya's preschool class. It was a lot of fun. Savanna loved loved loved all the animals. Her and MaKaya had fun feeding the horses, goats, and chickens. If you have an afternoon with nothing to do, I recommend this.

Good Behavior

Lexis school has an assembly a few times a year where each class picks two students and gives them an award for something good they have done, or something they have improved on. Each time Lexi has sat with her fingers crossed hoping and wishing that her name would be called. Today her finger crossing worked and her name was called. She got the award for being an Amazing person. Way to go Lexi!!!

What a difference 10 months make

Hunter, Kayden
Kayden, Hunter

Its hard to imagine that these two little guys were 9 weeks early and only each weighing almost 4 lbs. Its almost harder to imagine that this whole story ever took place. They are two of the happiest babies ever born. They are laid back content little fellors. Friends and family often wonder how I am doing and am I still okay after carrying Angies twins for her. I am happy to report that I am doing great! I love these two little boys a lot. I love to see them and holding them reminds of a miralce that I watched take place. Watching Angie with her boys and seeing the joy that they bring to her and everyone around makes me happy!

Faces of Boo

Only a Mother could love this very dirty face.

Please don't leave me. I really want to go. She can pucker that bottom lip out sooo far.

Thankfully Savanna is talking so much more and so much better but facial expressions and charades are still a huge part of our lives. A lot of her words are defiantly Boo language. For instance Lexi is Ah-Eee MaKaya is Maa Maa Adam is DuDum. Granny is MaMa Halle is LaLee. She is learning more words everyday. She has hit the why stage. MaKaya is still the best and figuring out what she wants. She brings a lot of laughter to our home
